Вадим Борисович Гудков более 20 лет рисует холсты тханка в традиционном тибетском стиле Гадри. Обучался у художницы Марианны ван дер Хорст-Лем (Нидерланды), ученицы тибетских мастеров Гега-ламы и Шераба Палдена Беру. Более 15 лет Вадим преподаёт тибетскую живопись, исследует её иконометрию, принципы и методы, переводит посвященую ей литературу. Участник проектов по реставрации и тематических выставок.
